Poppin' Guitars Reviewed by Scott Wolf's Mouse Clubhouse

Poppin' Guitars got another nice review on Scott Wolf's Mouse Clubhouse, a site with an insider's view of Disney. The only mention of my tune is to point out that it's one of the rarer Sherman Brothers songs, but you can read the entire review by clicking on the link or visiting my Poppin' Guitars Reviews page.

Website Redesign

You may have noticed the brand-new look for the website. I had been playing around with a new design as part of my graduate coursework (I took two classes in web design aspart of the program), and decided to carry that work over to the actual site. In addition to a very different look, the site is now also compliant with web standards--the old table-based design has been replaced with valid XHTML, and now I'm using CSS to control both layout and style. I will continue to tweak the design as I go along (and as I learn more), but I'm pleased with how much easier it is to update.

Poppin' Guitars Released!

Poppin' Guitars: A Tuneful of Sherman, the lastest tribute to great composers from Solid Air Records, has just been released. While supplies last, the CD is available with a bonus "behind the scenes" DVD. This album is honoring the songwriting team of Robert and Richard M. Sherman, who penned many favorites from movie sountracks, including Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and many others. For this collection, I recorded "The Slipper and the Rose Waltz," from the 1976 film The Slipper and the Rose Waltz starring Richard Chamberlain.
